Burglaries in Ireland dropped 35% percent from 2012 to 2016

“Who controls the past controls the future: who controls the present controls the past.”

George Orwell, from “1984”, 1949

It’s August, 2018, and crime rates are dropping to their lowest levels in history all over the globe.

Crime has been dropping since around 1991, but has really plummeted over the last four years, the years documented by this thread. It’s one of the great, epochal positive changes that are underway at every level of our reality at this time.

There’s a global news blackout in place on the subject, with rigid, highly-formulaic protocols.

I’ve given three recent examples of dropping crime from around the globe, below, and then highlighted and called out the propaganda techniques within them for the reader’s study and hopeful edification.

Edification: noun, “the instruction or improvement of a person morally or intellectually.

I lifted that technique (using the followup definition), from Don Croft.

Can you see how his legacy continues?

And I lifted that technique from Don (asking if the reader can see), also. Ah, mirth.

When I was young, my Uncle, Bob and I would notice the weather, and the one or two days a year when it was just perfect. Air clear, water shining like silver, “like in a Maxfield Parrish painting”, he would say. Well, I’m commuting from Brooklyn to New York every day on the train, and when we go over the river the water’s had that silver, shimmering quality a lot lately.

It’s been a cool, delightful summer, with beautiful breezes – the airs are alive, again. The New Yorker took care to entitle a (political) editorial two weeks ago “A Long Hot Summer” two weeks ago, because who controls the past controls the future, and who controls the present controls the past.

Having complete, top-down control of all of the globe’s Media organs might at first seem like an impressive achievement, but it really only puts off the inevitable for the literally-blood-drinking Once Percenter few who for this one final moment still control the many on this planet.

Them writing sort-of-crafty stuff to deceive the gullible is ongoing, and the positive changes I’m documenting here aren’t stopping, but are rather only increasing in speed and magnitude. I think you, me and them can all see where this is going, and fast.

Please consider sending them highest Love energy as you read this, and doing what you can to spread wider awareness of this situation, for our collective betterment.

May 14, 2018 – Ireland – Crime data suggests home burglary rate is falling

Home burglaries have fallen to record low levels in recent months according to previously unpublished crime data.

The new, more detailed, burglary figures show that on average, only one home break-in per day was reported to the Garda in each of the 26 counties during February and March this year.

Assistant Commissioner John O’Driscoll, who leads Special Crime Operations, said the winter phase of Operation Thor was aimed at prolific burglary gangs. And he believed it had been very successful.

He said just over 28,000 burglaries had been recorded in 2012. But last year and during 2016 some 10,000 fewer burglaries were recorded. “Those figures occurred at the time of recession,” he said with Garda manpower and overtime both sharply falling as the burglary rate soared.

Cash and gold

“Our data analysts tell us that in the first three months of this year, compared to the first three months of 2017; there was a 25 per cent decrease in residential burglaries.”

(Where “falling” is general. As you may recall, generality is a hallmark of propaganda. The specific percentage is “buried” lower in the article. The author provides the 25 percent decrease in burglaries from 2017 to 2018, but carefully hedges by only giving you the general number for burglaries in 2012 (“just over 28,000”), and then the general “some 10,000 fewer” for 2016 and 2017, and of course withholding the percentage. So I had to do the math. Burglaries in Ireland dropped 35% percent from 2012 to 2016.

The article presents plausible-deniability excuses for the unprecedented drop in crime (“Operation Thor aimed at prolific burglary gangs”, “the recession”), and make no mention of the fact that the drop is part of a wider, global trend. That’s a propaganda technique called “Compartmentalization.”  – ed)

July 26, 2018 – Hong Kong’s half-year crime rate drops to lowest on record, but scams and fraud on the rise

Hong Kong’s crime figures dropped to 26,550 cases during the first six months of 2018 – the lowest since 1977 when half-year crime statistics were first tracked. However, the police pointed to a rise in fraud cases, including romance scams, employment fraud and hacking of instant messaging applications.

Police spokespersons at a press conference on Wednesday said that the overall crime situation in the first half of 2018 “remained stable,” with a decrease of 6.2 per cent in the overall crime rate compared to the same period last year. Police said there were 4,361 violent crime cases recorded, which represented a decrease of 3.2 per cent over the corresponding period last year.

(Wait, what? Dropping 6.2% to the lowest number ever seen in history has nothing to do with “remaining stable.” That’s a blatant lie.

The article presents no explanation whatsoever as to what is driving the unprecedented drop in crime, and make no mention of the fact that the drop is part of a wider, global trend. That’s a propaganda technique called “Compartmentalization.”  – ed)

July 26, 2018 – Violent crimes and burglaries decrease in Memphis

Major violent crimes have dropped in Memphis in the first six months of the year compared to last year, based on preliminary figures from the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation.

The city experienced an 8.1 percent drop in mid-year major violent crimes compared to 2017, according to a recent report from the University of Memphis Public Safety Institute and Memphis Shelby Crime Commission.

(Where “dropped” is general, and hedges and softens against “dropped 8.1%”, or the stronger-still “dropped nearly 10%”. As you may recall, generality is a hallmark of propaganda.

The article presents no explanation whatsoever as to what is driving the unprecedented drop in crime, and make no mention of the fact that the drop is part of a wider, global trend. That’s a propaganda technique called “Compartmentalization.”  – ed)
